- The Rolex Daytona 116500LN WH Panda took the market by storm when it debuted with the first ceramic Daytona bezel. Also known as “Cerachrom,” the ceramic bezel is not as susceptible to corrosion, scratches, or fading as its aluminum predecessors.
- The first watch shows the addition of the Cerachrom bezel insert to the stainless steel Daytona, which previously had a metal bezel. The second reason that this watch became so popular is its aesthetic similarities to the popular Paul Newman Daytona models.
